I met Silas when I first flew to Peru when we where both just 18 years old. Me, a geeky school girl with my wonderful friend Ellie and Si a geeky boy from Maine.
To say the least we got on pretty darn well which was lucky as we basically lived in a tent together for 3 months. We ice climbed and hiked all around one of the most beautiful places in the world, Patagonia. We hiked up to Machu Picchu and up a Volcano in Chile where we then slide down on our bums. We got ill, we got bitten but we also laughed and smiled and still do remembering all of theses memories today.
Since then we have been lucky enough to meet up in New York, the UK, Australia and California (where Si now lives). There are a few pictures above, but I decided not to embarrass us too much...
Some friends you meet and you just know you'll be friends for a lifetime. I feel super lucky to have met Si, he's a truly inspirational boy. I am so proud of all he's achieved in the last 10 years and I am looking forward to many more adventures and smiles with him in the future.
He's been a huge support in setting up this brand and continues to be, currently helping me design some menswear... ( watch this space )
As well as drinking insane amounts of chocolate milk in South America he also hooked me up with Facebook, telling me it would be a great way to keep in contact - well, I guess he was right!
